Theres a lot going on around the nursery here. We're bringing in lots of trees from the farms and getting ready to settle in for the winter; not that the winter is a slow time for us. With the quantity of trees we have, we'll be beginning the repotting season pretty soon. As soon as we get the trees into their winter quarters our repotting session will begin.
We've got lots of new things for the holiday season. We've just received a shipment of some smaller junipers. We'll be getting our shipment of pottery by the end of the month probably. Don't let the number of trees posted on this website fool you. We have a big assortment of trees and all the supplies you could use. If you want it and don't see it on the website, don't hesitate to give us a call.
One other thing we're working on. We offer Gift Certificates in various denominations, but right now our checkout system adds a shipping charge on the sale of these Gift Certificates. We're working on a solution, but until then just give us a call. We can do these transactions manually.
One thing that is pretty exciting going on around here is the formation of a study group for those interested in bonsai in the upstate of South Carolina. Really anyone is welcome, but there's a real need in the upstate area that this group should feel. If you want to come around from anywhere in SC, or NC or GA then I'm sure the group would welcome you. There's a website at UpstateBonsai.com that should provide more information about the group. It'll be a small group, though theres a good bit of interest so this group really has the potential to grow. We'll see where it goes. This is a real asset to the bonsai community in the Upstate area.
